Tom draws on more than 25 years of financial-services industry experience at some of the largest firms in the business. Most recently, Tom covered the state of Connecticut for Franklin Templeton Investments, where he shared numerous business-building ideas and portfolio-construction techniques, and conducted hundreds of educational seminars. A true student of the market, Tom has long been considered an "adviser to the adviser" and a true partner within the financial-adviser community by listening, understanding, and helping his partners manage portfolios as well as their practice. Tom is currently studying for his Certified Investment Management Analyst (CIMA) designation.
Tom's personal philosophy regarding his work with financial advisers is very simple: If we manage risk effectively, then it will be easy to manage the emotions and expectations of the client. This allows the client to achieve their financial goals without the burden of fear.
Tom and his wife, along with their 16-year-old son, live in the Hartford area. They enjoy playing and watching ice hockey, skiing and snowboarding, and going to the beach.
